Anyone seen a plate of some type to put under the centerstand so you can pivot the bike 180 degrees? I want to drive the bike into the garage and spin the bike around so I can just drive it back out without doing the forward and back routine.

    I know lazy...

get two metal plates & smear grease between them. We use this high tech solution to test aircraft nose landing gear steering in the hangar. Works suprisingly well.

If you don't want the bike sliding around, you can put a bolt through the center of the plates and into the floor. This will allow rotation only.

you could also put the grease on the floor and dump the clutch while pushing the back end out. Just make sure you're holding the front brake.

thanks everyone. Hey tried the grease on the floor but the kids came out and tried to skate on it.

I appreciate the ideas. ending up taking the two pieces of metal idea...had a piece of steel and went and hijacked an old heavy pancake griddle my wife had in the kitchen...a little grease and wella...

    thanks again

I'm impressed...finally got around to cutting a hunk of carpet from the leftovers of the new carpet and presto instant turntable.

    It does work great

    thanks Chopperman!

This is all well and good, but if I wanted to have enough space to rotate a bike 180 degrees in my garage, I'd have to get rid of a bike or two!
