I checked out the Flats bar/restaurant in queen creek. Looks like a great place to meet and ride from. Hope we can plan another short ride the week of the 21st.

Gee s bill I missed this.

I am going for a ride out Peralat Rd and prob Apache Trail tommarrow early morning. I have to find a camping spot. I am not sure if you can camp off Peralat or not. We want to do some camping and hiking next weekend.

If anyone wants to tag along we can meet somewhere for AM coffee

We did coffee tonight. I have work in the am..

NoMor...I'm sure I've seen campers off of Peralta Trail(hope thats what ya meant). There are spur trails off the north/west side of that which is good riding with spectatcular views of the Superstitions. I would take a DS sport bike on those trails as they are rocky and a bit steep in spots. Make sure you have permits if you need them...whether State Trust Land, OHV or Tonto(Apache Trail) for camping

you guys sure did give up easy:huh. i actually like that it was less "organization" and more "hey im doing this ride, who wants to come with?".. that being said im probably moving to flagstaff if my job interview goes well on friday.

I like that format too..down side is it leads to a quite a few solo rides. My flex time is jacked up compared to most.

Hey, can any of you guys tell me where to find some great singletrack in the East Valley? I live in Gilbert, don't always want to travel too far. I ride a Yamaha 225, street legal but don't like riding this on the pavement, and a BMW F650GS, which is mostly for fire roads.

    Thanks so much.

I'll be out on the eastern end of town tomorrow on my beemer...stuck to pavement at the moment till I get some knobbies & crash bars on the beast, but if anyone isn't on cooking duty and wants to sneak a ride in during the AM hours, I'm thinking of running up Apache Trail, either till the pavement ends or the whole thing if I feel ambitious/foolish. Just give me a call at 717.676.9755.
