Nice grab Rusty. Did you get caught in the storms again?
Thanks no storms just some light to moderate rain and about 3 lightning strikes going to the tag and on the ride back home.
Some real "boomers" in Greene Co. yesterday pm.
You sure didn't waste any time getting to this one! Good job!
New tag a water tower I found tonight.
The clues are in the photo.
Got it....nice ride. I haven't been up on the Plateau in awhile.
Same general area (same county) as the last tag, on a Hwy with two digits adding up to eight.
Great grab DragonNester!
Thanks. Once I got to the other side of the valley the roads turned into a real pleasure to ride...winding through the Cumberland Mts. I should have stayed longer, maybe going up to Jamestown and Rugby, but I turned south and went to Crossville instead. Still, it was a very nice ride.
Hwy 62 near Deer Lodge
Wow....Great get Jeco46!!
Forget Google and ride to the top of Caryville Mountain for an easy grab. Two up on street tires, no problem.
We saw something on the way down that looked kind of like a deer and the size of a horse. An elk maybe?
Yup. That's the center of TN elk repopulation area.
There's a nifty elk viewing tower in Sundquist off 25W out of LaFollette. Gotta go early or evening to spot them, most times, but it's a nice area.
The tag was located off of Tower Road.
Clue Caryville First Baptist Church
New tag. I put about 350 miles on the bike today. Deals Gap wasn't that crowded, but riding the Cherohala in the dark during a thunderstorm was exciting.
That's like Iron Butt territory on that bike!
