I live in Idaho falls and was curious if there is any club or group meet ups in the local area. Thanks and I look forward to your responses.

We've been known to go for hamburgers in Alpine via some shortcuts... Pretty random selection of adv riders around here. Holler out if you have plans and maybe some scoundrel will throw in with you.

Dang. Saw your post after we got back. Just went through Tex Creek on the way to Kelly Mts, Teton Valley and back through Falls Creek. I'll try to give some warning next time.

There's a really nice campground (Stoddard Creek C.G.) about a mile off I-15 just south of the Idaho Montana border. Would be a great place for a gathering. Hundreds of gnarly trails for the foolhardy. Lots of good gravel roads for the quarter ton class. And paved access from I-15 for cruisers. Within striking distance of the Gravelly Mts, Medicine Lodge road, Red rock road to Yellowstone, Big Hole country, Lemhi Mts. and it's in the middle of the Centennial Mts. Twenty some odd single camp spaces but it has a group campsite that can hold up to 50 people with lots of places for tents. Only the group campsite can be reserved but as of today the weekends for August 8 to 11 and Aug 29 to Sep 1 are available for reservation. If enough people are interested I'll go ahead and reserve it. Please PM me with preferred date.

Sounds like a good trip. Since you have a few days you might make a turn off the Red Rock Road and make a loop through the Gravelly Range. It's on my list but I'll be heading up Panther Creek, Spring Creek to Darby then the Magruder and Lolo motorway about the same time. (leaving Monday if anyone's interested.) Kind of hard to scare up dual sport riders around here. Most riders are on trailies or monster cruisers.
