    Here is my proposition:

    Sunday, January 27th. 1PM

    The Pik-n-Pig
    194 Gilliam McConnell Road
    Carthage, NC 28327

It's a BBQ joint on an airstrip. Good food and a good view.

I figure 1pm may be a problem for some though, so pipe in. The Pik-n-Pig is only open from 12-3 on Sundays, so if the time is an issue, I have an alternate location in mind.

What do you guys and gals think?

I'm really flexible on times so it sounds fine to me. I know there are plenty of people here with jobs so they need to chime in. I'm going to repost this in the Raleigh/Fayetteville thread because a few of them live right near there.

The Pig is less than 5 miles from the house, so I think I could make it!

Show time at noon to ensure everyone has time to show and eat?

Leave by way of wheelie down the runway? (I know PLENTY that do exactly this!)

Us Church goin folks can't make a noon Sunday meet.
I'm probably close to 2 hrs, from Carthage.
I'll have to pass on this one.

Well that would be some nice back roads riding to get there from the Fayetteville area, But......I work this weekend.

I'm open to suggestions. If that day is no good, we'll shoot for another. However, if it is after that day, I might find that i'm a little too far away to join you guys, and would have to leave planning to someone else.

Alright, MrsDonkeys said she would be willing to plan one in February if that works better for folks. That would give us more flexibility on days.

    Thoughts?

The 27th looks like it will work for me, but I think most Sundays in Feb would be fine as well.

Lets stick with the 27th. That way you can have a good send off before you get on that plane.

Hey folks, I kind of picked a Sunday because that is what day we did the last one. Does Saturday work better?

I think that would solve the Church scheduling conflicts, and it would give us a lot more flexibility on times.

Saturday works for me to. The reason we did Sunday last time was Ray planned it and that was his only day off. We have had the dinners about every day of the week but Saturdays were usually good turn outs.

Got a few PM's, and it seems Saturday seems to work best for most people. Not a lot of sports tying father's down on Saturdays this time of year, and not a lot of Church conflicts either. This actually works better for me as well, and should give the more people a chance to join us. Saturdays have a lot more planes flying in as well.

    So let it be official:
