Good luck Bill. To bad that "W" word got in the way.
How many we have for Sunday? It is almost time .
I'm a "maybe" at this time. My Nighthawk is out-of-commission awaining a double rubber by-pass and I'm not sure my butt can handle 5 hours in the saddle of the Savage. It starts to throb after 10 minutes.....hmmm.... maybe it will just plain go numb after an hour or so.....
Should be going, but am looking at the weather. Not sure if I'm riding the DRZ or the F yet, but short of it puring rain, will likely be there..
No rain gear??
One of these days I will make one of these dinners. Unfortunately tonight will not be one of them. You all have a good time and maybe next time I will be able to join you.
Of course. When I did a trip to the mountains, I rode through NC, SC, GA and TN, and it seems every time, I'd wind up riding in the rain over the mountains. That just doesn't mean I'd _prefer_ to ride in the rain, either! :huh
Well I guess thats a valid excuse....... I dont prefer it either.
Just thunder here. Does look bad to my north. Still planning to go.
This sucks. Heavy rain now.
No rain here as of yet. Doesnt look like rain but I aint no weatherman.
NC DAN, I thought my goat was cute, that dog is growing on me
We came back from the rock patch, I didnt see any rain all the way to Lumberton, Ron went Left, I went straight, one mile, WET ROADS....
We have had a inch so far. WOOF
Boy was i rong!! T-storm warnings and looks like its gonna pour. Ill keep ya'll posted.
Looks like I'll miss this one Still raining. Affraid I will melt
Its not raining. Thats called swimming if you are moving around in this stuff! I will be missing this one to if anyone shows up. Unless it stops raining in the next 20-30 minutes lol.
ok, so femme and I got geared up, rode out in the rain. A bit late, we pulled in at 7:30. Lo and behold, we have the only two bikes in the lot. :-(
So, we ate and took some pics...to follow later.
Somewhat amusingly yet painful, I apparently twisted my knee or something yesterday. It wasn't bad heading out, but by the time we arrived, I couldn't get out of my riding pants and liner without help.
On the ride back (some more rain), I could barely shift. Not a clue what happened, but currently contemplating a trip to the ER. No fun, yech!
