    Hey Wolf,

I like the little bike. Handles great. So so on the power but it is only 500cc :lol3

I'm sure we will meet up sometime. You can take it for a spin.

I keep thinking I can do an after work grab, but "after work" keeps getting later and later this week.

Grab .. Yeah baby .. Buddy of mine and a potential new tagger (new inmate) came along for the ride .. OhNoes .. Joined yesterday ..

    That's Doug's '82 Suz GS850 .. Bone-stock when he got it from another co-worker ..

Sent from RevBill's iPhone using Tapatalk .. Ride Blessed y'all ..

    Edit .. the details ..

Doug is a buddy of mine at work .. new rider with only a few hundred miles under his belt until today .. lol .. he's doing great and that GS850 is a really nice bike ..

.. so off we go for Doug's introduction to Tag-a-Rama .. easy ride down from up here in Mayodan .. as we turn onto Ramsuer-Julian Road up rolls a nice BMW with all the trimmings .. friendly wave from the rider and I was thinking Doug and I were screwed .. lol .. so I ask him if he is one of the guys from ADV .. he's never heard of ADV .. so much to the distress of the car that pulled up behind us we have a quick chat and I give him the advrider.com info and my name .. hope he joins us .. beautiful bike .. I have GOT to start carrying my camera on a lanyard around my neck for fast access and quick shots ..

.. here's some more shots of the Church .. pretty amazing when you think about the years and history this place has seen .. the celebrations .. the sorrows .. the families that have passed through these doors and worshiped here ..

I (finally) learned how to use the timer and started carrying a portable tripod ..

    DANG!!!

These things sit there all week, I buy bike luggage, take vacation time, map out a 750 mile ride and, welp, there you have it.

    Nice grab.

    0 for 2,000,001.

Someone go grab that stupid thing in Matewan, WV so I have to COMPLETELY rearrange...

Flashback, you said you were heading to KY, right? The Appalachian Tag is on the WV/KY border almost. Please snag it before I head out the door in the morning. :D

The SouthEast tag is down on the other side of Charlotte. If someone can go grab that and completely put me out of my misery, I'd appreciate it. :D

RE the boxes .. the small ammo cans mounted onto the crash bars was kinda an experiment .. and man I like them .. I don't know how or why but my bike is (finally) about rock-solid passing big rigs .. I used to get a death wobble, now I don't .. has to be something aerodynamic about two large bricks mounted like a fairing I guess .. lol ..

.. as to where we are headed .. honestly, I don't know .. lol .. will be surfing for a good drop tonight .. OhNoes (Doug) says he wants to go for another ride tomorrow after work to drop the tag, so no file pic unless plans go haywire ..

.. Wibby .. brother .. sorry to change up your plans man .. but I earned this one .. lol .. I was gonna get this one even if I got Bruced ..

.. now to go edit the grab with the details ..

Nice going RevBill. You are right, there is a lot of history setting there on that little hill. They were gathering there to worship almost 20 years before the "Shot Heard Round The World" was fired in 1775. I live less than 5 miles from the church.

NC has moved twice since I decided to run for it and the new one hasn't been dropped yet.
Eastern NC has been grabbed and not dropped yet.

Dang. Went from having a two day ride mapped out to sitting here in a holding pattern... :lol3

    Yeah, no kidding.
The ONLY days I've taken off this year that weren't to help someone else do something have been planned around tags. It's a disease, but fortunately the treatment overlaps nicely with what I like to do anyway. :D

I may do that tomorrow, to some extent. Just got all whiny this morning and went for a local tag after seeing my well-laid plans vanish like a recent 401k... :D
