Does anyone here by chance know how to get the seat off of a 1200gs if you can't get the key in? Apparently there is a way to release it, but I sure can't figure it out. A hoist hooked to the garage roof has crossed my mind a few times today.

In the opening ceremonies, I think the number they gave was 58,3xx since they keep finding and identify remains. Median age of those lost...19.
    :cry

    Regardless of the number....too many.

    DCNR Power Ranger!!!!

Out and about today, followed a car to the top of Wyckoff Run where we both turned towards Quehanna Boot Camp. Soon caught up to a DCNR truck which was following another pickup. All doing 45-50. An open stretch comes, car pulls out and passes both trucks. I'm thinking about doing the same....when DCNR pulls out to pass ....and hits his fucking red/blue lights and pulls the car over!?!?!?
When the fuck does DCNR have the power to do a traffic stop?????
The car pulled over right away....but I would be real curious as to the conversation that took place!
So not only do we have to keep an eye out for State Police.....but fucking DCNR power ranger???????
    WTF?????

Dcnr is full deputy dog law enforcement, gun and all. I remember this state forest ranger i knew way back when they forced them to carry guns, he hated guns. He was afraid he would shoot himself.

I did some googling....sez DCNR has basically same powers as PSP.
    :eek7
    WTF???
How much training do they get to handle those duties?
Do they have calibrated equipment to run a speed check? I really doubt it!
Road was tar n chip....so no lines designating a pass/no pass zone.
Those are the only 2 things I could think of as a reason to light the car up. I really hope the car that he stopped fights it!
Especially with 'Department of Forestry' across the back.

A game commission officer has MORE legal rights to your shit than PSP does. They are trained more than PSP is also I believe.

If a game officer thinks you have poached animals in your freezer he has 100% every right to enter your home and search it WITHOUT a warrant. There is nothing you can do about it either.

Oh and it's also illegal to pass multiple vehicles at once I believe so probably why they stopped him.

ANY person of authority working for the state/local PD can stop anyone out of jurisdiction and detain you until the proper authorities can arrive. It's nothing different than a citizen's arrest really. Constables can stop you for traffic violations and detain you till PSP or whomever arrives to write you the ticket. They will just appear in court as a witness.

:Edit: DCNR doesn't do traffic control that I know of but they can use their judgement as to your speed, like any other officer can do. I'm sure however they can use radar/vascar in state parks. I don't know any game officer to ask though.

Game commission officers do need a warrant absent permission to enter and search your house.
And constables have been petitioning for traffic stop authority but to date have not gotten it.
