    I can see them from my Mom's house (because she backs up to Amish farm with no trees). Its not that exciting to watch at 175 miles away. They are not impressive, just a blue flame since it runs on kerosene. Sort of the same watching launches out of Disney world, too far away.
    Now to see it in person, local, on the beach would be cool as hell, but that place turns into a zoo I hear for launches, and none of them are every on time anyway.

    what I always do is watch the launch feed on the internet, than you know when to look at horizon to see it as it comes into view

    The Blackhawk remained silent today. I did make an interesting find in the woods today.
