So, for those of you in SE PA. What would be your preferred route from Willow Street (Frey's Evergreen Farm) to Revzilla if on knobbies? Google Bicycle directions put me onto some no motors allowed bike trails.
Would you risk the old railbed from 222 to Atglen or is it completely converted to a bike/hike rail trail now?

not many on this forum from this part of PA.
I am, but I am not sure about any old rail-bed's but if its there, you can be sure that motorcycles are not allowed on them.

Have you seen where Revzilla is? its like on the Delaware River at the old Navy yard I think? I bet its 2 hours by car from willow street (on a good day), and over 1/3 of that distance is the city of Philadelphia :(.

Yeah this ^^^, running the old low grade there will get you in a lot of trouble especially since Quarryville police used to frequent the lot next to it in that area along 372. It is a groomed trail made for hiking and biking. From what I gather it has some larger loose rock in it that would be about as much fun as riding on marbles, which I've heard from the bike riders complaining about. There's also a few bridges removed that you have to come down from and then back up on the other side of the road. Directly in QV there is at last 2 that I know of that do that.

Revzilla is in the Navy yard. Getting there involves running several major highways, in traffic, with a bunch of city idiots. Take the cage or a proper street tired bike. I've done it a few times from Quarryville and each time I asked myself why I rode the bike there. It's not exactly a relaxing, enjoyable ride.

Wow nice bike. December is deal time. I always laughed at guys buying bikes early spring and paying top dollar.

Suggestions on what or where to buy crash bars, hard bags, and skid plates for my new ride would be appreciated!
Would be really nice to see stuff in person before deciding and laying down the $$$.
Any place like that still around?

Go to the Motorcycle shows and get touchy feely. Bring cash in case there is a show special.

You can save a lot if you can deal with used on the flea market.

Thinking of going to Cleveland, but have seen folks say don't expect much from the shows....esp for ADV aftermarket stuff. Not enough chrome and fringe I guess.
