Either that or you never read Dirt Bike magazine when you were younger...
Working this weekend
If somebody can find him wearing a "Dirty Harry's" shirt, please post it up.
We can thank him for almost the entire motorcycle lingo/vocabulary that we use today.
And who can forget the Maico 501?
True that to poor for mags o and I can't

While we are opening up about ourselves;
Hi, my name is Spencer and I prefer to ride slow. So slow in fact, my preferred bike is a TW200.

Anybody remember Ed Hertfelder?
Forget what mag he wrote for, think his column was called "Duct Tapes".
Is his stuff available in a book???
I think you caught up to me in Michaux this fall?
IIRC it was "Trail Rider" magazine....or something like that
+100 to that!!!
Traveling is more than putting miles on a bike.
I'm probably more of a traveler than a rider.
I have meet him several times at a NJ enduro, I think he always worked the start.
Last I saw him he was writing for Trail Rider. I ended up being the subject in one of his stories :huh
I searched the internet and the only thing I found was this.
I remember he was known for having old Egg sandwiches in his truck of something like that from his writings. Funny stuff.
the rest of the links were all dead, almost like someone did a search and made everyone remove the copy-write stories :eek1
Another guys stuff I read is Twisted Roads by Jack Riepe. He can be pretty funny also.
Funny you should ask.
He wrote for Cycle magazine and later Dirt Rider and Trail Rider as well.
Probably not, I don't even know where/what Michaux is. I don't venture out the area much. There is so much state forest at the end of my driveway that I find it real hard to adventure far unless it's for a gathering.
Looks like a Bultaco Frontera?
Funny you should ask.....
well that sux...
