one for each hand
Next week I will order the chains
Ive been using then for years got sets for every one of my vehicles.
For my truck I put the them on the back at home and if its bad up in the mountains I put the Vbars chains on the back and cables on the front.
Yea,bike is partially disassembled,not much time to work on it ,i've been workin',now they got a job in Puerto Rico,don't know if i'll be asked to go but if i do i won't be able to do anything to the bike.

I see wunderlich has a set but they are you typical auto type steel chains...
They prolly weigh, but they cost like 500 bux a set...:eek1
I see Michelin makes a set made of nylon, but I'd have to figure out what size wouls fit my bike..I bet If I ask them they'ed say that the chains aren't recomended for motorbikes...

the back is a loop of cable with 2 connectors on it to put on with out driving on or jacking.

Id just give them tire dimensions and not mention the bike till afterward
They might be able to sell pieces to make what you need i get parts from western auto but they do have to order them.
I remember AnnieGS made some of these cheap.
I'll dig around and see if I can find the thread.
i bet a 165/85-16 would be verry close to my 150/70-17
