Don't think it's in the WV Historical Markers thread since it's a county sponsored marker. Would be nice to find a catalogue of the county markers, too.

I took the laptop out to the KLR, asked it if the new tag looked familiar. It just yawned 'n said "BTDT".

I'd just like to know where all the local riders are... I suspect there's a few lurkers:ddog

The Maryland game is pretty intense with the SMIBs involved and JAXOBSESSED, Lakota and Dynamic popping up everywhere. But, with only 2 locals in this TOR, what fun is that?

This'll be hard to digest....but I speak the truth. The "other" riders? They're down at the senior citizens center. The Burgman Blue Hair Brigade. Keep an open mind now. If we go down and discretely pit the BBHB against their arch rivals "The Sons of Senility", we might get a fairly competitive game of tag going. There may be some trade offs. The EP [Eastern Panhandle] is typically known for it's quiet, Andy of Mayberry atmosphere.....well, OK, there might be a small Meth problem in some neighborhoods. Well, maybe entire zip codes......and there are a few transient women who work in some of the border hospitality businesses....
and OK, there is a cluster of Gypsies west of 81....and the regional multi-agency task force do seem to earn their pay....but for the most part, rolling at 75 on I-81, it's a Norman Rockwell drawing, looking for a magazine cover.

The image may become a little tarnished if these "other riders" are brought out and whipped into a competitive frenzy. I can predict with some level of certainty that once quiet and safe school zones will be violated.....the neighborhoods totally upset by the roar of uncorked Remus exhausts, geriatric riders, believing themselves anonymous behind that smoked visor, screaming through shopping malls and against traffic on one way streets....and if you are intent on bringing them into the game, just sweeten the pot a little. Along with the duck, stash a coupon good for a free Mickey D's coffee and a hit of Viagra. You'll have to spray that duck with Gummer Repellent.

Just give this idea of bringing out these "other riders" to play a good, long hard thought. They come from another time, back when everyone in West By God, even the women, killed someone else, or at least a Mountain Lion. With a spoon. I'm not sure how "hard clues" will be received, and seeing how's the Panhandle ain't all that big, they may put effort into finding out where you live....All I can suggest is that you don't underestimate them. Review "Pandora's Box".

Hopefull to get more lurkers and players it was suggested that the eastern panhandle tag-o-rama be expanded...to more of the eastern panhandle....so without further delay.... two new counties have been added... Mineral and Hampshire Counties.... :deal so now the ping-pong tag has a bigger table....:D

Added a line on the TOR map to roughly show the new Western boundary. It's not exact, but since the Google map lacks county boundary lines, it at least gives a general idea. If you wish to tag a location past the line, but it's actually within Hampshire or Mineral Counties that's fine.
