Easy-pull clutch lever

    Has anyone had any experience with easy-pull clutch levers? I have arthritis in my hands and my F700GS's clutch pull causes me a bit of bother. I've read good reports of the RSC lever which reputedly reduces pressure by half.

    I have some tendonitis issues and found that the pricey Wunderlich adjustable lever helps as the lever can be adjusted to sit closer to the handlebar -- this makes for less of a reach. Obviously less reach equals less travel, so less disengagement -- but I have not had any issues. It has been suggested that adding slack to the cable (with the stock lever) may approximate the feel I'm getting as the resistance will not kick in until the hand is more closed and may be easier on the fingers.
    The EZ clutch requires less pressure through a pulley which also means less disengagement. I purchased an EZ clutch but didn't install it so if you'd like one PM me.

    I think the neatest approach to lessen clutch effort is in a thread here -- when I get a few moments I plan to try it:

    It will suffer the same problem in that the same amount of cable pull will provide a smaller amount of "actuation" of the clutch, but with some adjustment of the key dimensions/adjustment provision I'll bet you could find something that did the trick...

    I put one on my wife's bike(listed Below).
    She has nerve damage in her left arm and works the clutch without issue. She loves the EZ Pull.
    I did have to modify the perch to accept the larger diameter from the EZ Pull.
    There are no problems with clutch engagement/disengagement.

    In the end I tried the RSC lever, and after some initial difficulties which were sorted out by a series of emails with RSC's Josh Miller, it all works as well as claimed. Less than half the original pull strength. The only downside is that I've lost the ability to start the bike in gear because the RSC clutch lever has its own housing with no provision for the sensor.
    Big praise for Josh though--he really gives great after-sales service.
