The worst thing about listings like this is that his statements are false.

The tank (in primer) is still available from BMW for a measly $1270.00
BMW has plenty of stock in Germany.
The seats are truly NLA from BMW, but are available form other sources in Germany.
The rear rack is in stock at BMW in Germany, lists for $149.00
Weather or not he knows they're false or not is another matter.
I guess it's time for a friendly heads up about the facts.
Oh, he also states that the kit was only on the bike for 6months.
I find that a little hard to believe. Look at the stone chips on the front of the tank and the severe discoloration on the roundels and severe sun damage to the orange stickers on the sides of the tank.
Where was this stuff stored, out on his roof?
The sad thing is that some dumbass will probably buy it for $4K

He has been officially reported to Ebay, and I sent him a letter explaining that since he had the title, he either is a scammer or was the victim of one depending on what the title actually says.
Be interesting to see what he says, if anything.

I just won't tolerate that kind of horseshit in my corner of the world.

Looks to be this bike: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=731892

Reading the ad description, it sounds like the heads were off 15 years ago, not recently?

Was a decent deal at $400.00. I guess someone felt the same way at $1325.00 :eek1 But they haven't seen the bike yet either.
    To each his own.
Personally, I would have parted it out at $400.00 and helped to breath some new life into some other needy BMWs
    But that's just me.

:lol3...that was my old POS that was going to be turned into "something" but I ended up laid off this winter so decided to part it out. Decided to put it on EBay on a whim and was in shock that it went to $1k...much less $1325,00!
I even had a new set of "wirewrkr" plug wires I was gonna use but used them on my other bike.
Beauty is in the eye of the bidder I guess.
