Anyone fitted an Elextrex stator to their bike? I'm thinking about one for my Dommie as I only have 180W to deal with, and they claim that the upgraded one will give an extra 30% power. Has anyone fitted one and seen this sort of increase, or is it just marketing bull? The upgraded version is only an extra £27 on top of the standard, so as I'm not sure about my current one for charging the battery, wondering if the replacement may be worthwhile.
Not sure what it will do for you but I had an 83 Suzuki GS ( also rated at 180 )that kept eating regulators and stators. I went the Electrex route and never had another problem even when I was running heated vest, chaps, 100 watt headlight and sound system.
