I hope she's ok
Been closed for awhile now,at least a year or 2.
She's been closed for some time now, the restaurant should have been empty, so she is likely fine. I hope...
The other fire was actually her residence, and not associated with the restaurant. She did get the house all repaired after that fire.
Hopefully she had the insurance on the building, which may help her out as she hasn't been working for a couple years.
Bummer tho, her refridgerator in the restaurant was pretty much covered with COG and ADV oriented stickers, which we had been applying for over 10 years.... she's been loved by all of us for a long time
Thanks for sharing. The restaurant burned about a year ago. She was gone for an appointment and came back to see it burning. These are the first photos I've seen since the fire. What a shame. At least she had already decided to retire at that point. Her home burned a few years ago, and she bought a used trailer and set it up between the diner and the old house.

She had a good run. Decades of moto-travelers stopping in for a bite and visit.
I never rode through Hacker Valley w/o stopping in. Even if I was not hungry, I'd stop in for pie n' tea and a warm welcome.
