Turned around at Carl's diner due to weather/ lightning around the 3 hour mark. I thought I knew, but I had no idea!

Johnny Walker won followed by Dougie Lampkin and Ben Hemingway.

Graham Jarvis (1st to reach the finish line) and Lettenbichler (3rd) were disqualified due to missing a checkpoint early in the race. But nobody told them till they reached the finish.

Only 7 finishers (9 with Jarvis and Lettenbichler).

    Yeah, that's Erzberg... :D

They stop the race after 4hours, this time it was a little bit earlier due to bad weather (I think 3:30). If they would've gone the whole distance today there would've been another 2-5 finishers.

But Walker did the race in about 1:40 ...

There was an interview with Heinz Kinniganer (sp?), and he clearly said his dream is to have one where no one finishes (with a chuckle :lol3)

BTW, Kendall Norman had just soloed the Baja 500 the previous weekend. The guy is an animal.

Why did Birch not race Erzberg this year?
I can't believe Jarvis missed the check point, just an amazing rider.

Didn't they say Birch and Tady (is that his name? The multi time winner) were saving themselfs for Romaniacs?

I thought they would do both, but I don't know any facts...:deal

I thought Tady was doing an EnduroCross here in the states..KTM must really want that title not to have the golden boy back in Austria doing erzberg.

Birch was on the mic. Actually quite cool to get his perspective on the race.
He did say he is on for the Romaniacs this coming weekend
