I would be interested in your first impressions comparing the 990 Adventure R to the 1190 Adventure R. How do the off road capabilities and handling compare?

Big pleasure for me to read you, Joe. Thank you very much to share your experience with new 1190R.
I love your previous trips and I love my 990ADV. So now I'm very curious to read your new 1190R opinion.

We need it :D. It's very difficult to read your website and blog. In the past I tried with a web-translator, but it's not the same.

After a couple of days on the beach, I’m on the road again.
Here are some clips from the first part of the tour.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

Sorry about the sound, but I don't have the software and the time to create a good sound to it.

In the next day’s I’ll write a short report about the first 5.000 km.<o:p></o:p>

How is the internet service over there? Are you camping or staying in hotels?

In Kenia Internet conections are good.
You get free WIFI at many hotels and restaurants.

We didn't camp often, because you find cheap hotels in every town.

    That is a cool trip.

I still have few contacts in Madagascar from my previous trip. If you need any info send me a PM.

    Ciao

It's all fake - you know - done with all the modern film trickery to make it look like the bike is being ridden off road at a decent speed. We all know the 1190 Adventure cannot be ridden off road - we read all about it on the internet so it must be true :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

On a more serious note - great video Joe. It's good to see the 1190 in action and even more sos to see it offroad. I have an 1190R on order and will hopefully see it within the next 8 weeks :clap:clap

Thanks again for the first ever non official video with the new adventure!
And don't wory about the sound, at least there is some, we're happy for it anyway ;-)

    I'll try to make the video visible if you won't mind:<a href="<object width=" 853"="" height="480">
