Yes. You read that right. It's official and the soreness in my shoulders from multiple immunizations are real too.

We are outta here YFF's, seeking sun and ADVenture in Latin Fucking America.:evil

The broad strokes; Renting KLR's from Mike at Motolombia for ten days, and we'll be looking for inmates and interesting things to see and do while we're there. We're not taking a tour, not going to fancy hotels, not shopping for trinkets or baubles or anything else (not that kind of trip...)

For those interested in modifying the housings on those for weight or clearance or whatever: save the pieces and dust from sanding/filing for fire starter kits... magnesium is fun.

They aren't making people like this anymore. If you ever cross paths with Whitey you will never forget it. He told me one time that some of his friends told him he needed a faster bike. According to him his solution was to get slower friends........

Took the little bike for a short ride after work last night to try out those new lights. Wow. :eek1

Perhaps not as brilliant as the HIDs on the GS, but still sufficient to light up enough road to feel comfortable at well over sixty. I've got them rigged to come on with the bright headlight. The only issue is that, when I dim the headlight for oncoming traffic, my eyes have to readjust to the dark! :lol3

I'm sure I pissed off a couple people when I fumbled for the dimmer switch. That's ok, though. One cager who refused to dim his lights received a photon blast from me that I'm sure he's still trying to shake off.

I would definitely consider replacing the HIDs on the GS for these LEDs just so I can turn them off and on easily and quickly. The HIDs take a few seconds to warm up and a moment to turn completely off.

All in all, well worth the price.:clap

Jesus Peterman, that's fucked up. Sorry. I hate thieves more than anything. I am not a big fan of Eugene or the Pad thus explaining my sporatic attendance at the meetups. The people are great and I always enjoyed my times there but shit it's Eugene:lol3. Sorry again about your scoot. Wanna borrow the Beta:lol3
