Yah, I like it. I've sat on it all day without a lot of soreness... At least not in the butt!:lol3. Now if I can just avoid those slippery leaves and green gunk on the steep, slick, paved roads.

Old plastic, new stickers -- they call them "graphics kits" now.

Biggest pain was removing the old adhesive. I'll have little boogers of that shit showing up here and there for years to come... :D

Yah, but it's gotta go somewhere. And there was a LOT of it!
Whoever applied those graphics were real generous with it. :lol3

Hi all. Just moved (back after about a decade hiatus) to Eugene this week. Wanted to say hello and join in the festivities. Didn't read too much of this thread since its mostly banter between people who seem to know each other well :) Just to get it straight... Meet ups on wed. at Quackers at what time? Is arrival by bike mandatory? :) Looking forward to meeting some new people and discovering great places to ride!

yes riding is mandatory,,unless you walk there, you must ride upon some conveyance,,horse, bike, car, bus, or dog sled,,though ,,you'll likely run up against some legal BS from "the coppers" if you drive a dog sled down any of the main streets in happy hippie town.
I guess wendysday this week is out,,since it's already over,,so,,I'm guessing next week,, 4:30,,5:00 as used-ural.
Come into the bilding,,make a sharp left,,walk directly to the bar, and ask,:eek1,,NO!,,DEMAND in the name of ADV to be shown titties!,,:deal
They'll direct you to our general area,,altho,,it'll be obvious,,,we're the long table with the food scraps and vomit on the floor, and multiple spilt drinks and sticky crap on the tables.
just show up, and don't be like BigBob, and skate onyer bill when you leave!,,they'll never let you live it down!
Hell, it only happened twice!:lol3,,(in all honesty, the 2nd time was a purposeful ruse!):clap
yeah,,by all means,,do stop in! we need new fresh victims,,,,yer not gonna cry if we kid you about yer bike are you?
    Heck,,EdRidesBikes has a Royal Enfield,,and we still like him!,,,(kinda,,a little bit,,maybe,,:1drink)

[edit],,and,,,there are no GREAT places to ride,,,

only miles and endless miles of gravel,,from here to,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Congrats :freaky I'm glad you're there too. Next warm(ish) day I'll swing by for a Friday afternoon safety meeting maybe. If I get the clutch fixed in the little car & the water pump swapped out in the diesel today/tomorrow may be able to make it that soon...we'll see.

Followed your ride in 12' to Guatemala and even KLR riders are welcome on Wednesdays. Most of the "good" riders in our group own/owned one. (The posers ride real dirtbikes with knobbies to make up for lack of talent). The exception to that rule is Ed who humps his 1346 lbs GS everywhere.

With the temps hovering about 10-15 degrees lately :vardy, only the brain injured :jump have been riding to the meetups, so as Peter states, get there anyway you can.
