    Tours on motorcycle in tuscany
Hello everyone, my name is Roberto, I write from Tuscany. Me and some of my friends, we are building a service about packages one-week vacation to visit Tuscany, including: motorcycle rental, 4 star hotel half board, and a tuscan guide who lead the group to Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, Chianti ecc... for all week, all for € 799 ($ 977 today). The price is about a quarter of what they ask other agencies, but 2015 will be our first year, that's why we make special offers. For more information: www.tuscanymototours.com
I wish our project may be in your interest, and to know your opinion also.
    A blink!

    Hello fellow traveller,

if you plan a long term motorcycle trip in Europe there are 2 common solutions :

    -You rent the bike
    -You ship your bike
Both solutions can be very expensive.

But have you ever thought to a third option : buy and sell a motorcycle
Just like Martin (aka weathwacker in Ireland), we are offering a buy and sell option to all long term travellers intending to travel in Europe. We are located in Tours, in the Loire valley, in the centre of France.
Our system is a little bit different because we give the money back straight at the end of the trip, so you don’t need to wait that the bike is sold to get your money back.

    We offer 2 options :

    Classic buy and sell :
You ask for the type of bike you want and the budget you have, we provide the bike ready to go (insured and registered in your name). You pay the full amount when you pick up the bike and when you come back you get your money back minus the fees that apply.
Those fees are based on the mileage and duration of your trip (usually from 40% to 60% of the value of the bike).

    Insurance :
I have a company here where I can insure you for 3rd liability at a fairly reasonable cost depending on the bike model of course. But if you have your own insurance that cover you for Europe then it’s fine. This insurance will cover you for all Europe, for some other countries you might need to get an insurance when you get to the border.
    Driving licence

It is vital that you have a valid driving licence for Europe for at least 2 years. We always recommend that you have an international license from your country.
    Storage
If you deal with us I can store the bike for free until your arrival. Accommodation at no charge is also available if you need to take some time before leaving for your big trip !.

    2 long terms rentals

We have a fleet of cheap road or dual purpose bikes (600 XT, 650 KLR, 600 Bandit etc) at a budget between 1500 to 4000 €
So if this solution suits you, you book the bike (already insured and registered) and take it for your trip. In that case the bike still belong to us and we provide insurance. This solution is like a rental contract but at a very low cost.
The same scale of budget/duration applies for the cost of that option. Ask us for a quote.

Anyway both options are definitely cheaper than shipping your bike or renting from a well established rental company. On top of that you save a full amount of time and money in paperwork and dealing with customs
We are also happy to provide any help to any traveller passing by

Feel free to contact us for inquiries or for a quote of your project

We've just made a new product and although we've tested it in the workshop we'd like a couple of people to test them in the real world.

We've been asked dozens of times for Motion Pro T6 Combo levers, in sizes that MP don't make. For rear axle nuts they only do 22/24/27 and 32mm.
So nothing for 17 or 19mm.

I had this idea a year or so ago, and only just got round to making some. Hex adapters to step down the spanner size in an MP lever, to the size you need.

We've started off making 24mm down to 19mm, and 24mm down to 17mm.
This should be particularly useful for Honda riders.

I'd like two people to test these. One tester for each size.
They'll be free, though I'd ask that you cover postage from our workshop in the UK to wherever you live. Or come and collect from our place, just south of Bristol.
They need to actually be used please, rather than sit in a toll roll in your garage. We're doing this to get some feedback, so we'd need some kind of info back from you on how well they worked.

Anyone interested please get in touch, first come first served.
If you want to give us pointers on other useful size combinations, please feel free!

On the subject of trials I have just finished making a carbon bashplate for the WR250R (have one on my bike and there are a couple on their way to the US)--before I consider selling one or two to recover costs (its my hobby) I would like someone in the UK to trial it--price will be 45 quid plus postage (to cover my material costs and a pint or two)--THE ACTUAL PRICE AFTER THIS WILL BE 75 gbp. All I ask is a fair report--it will be on a first come first served basis.

Oooooooh, now that's a good idea :thumb

I have Suzuki's with front axles in 17 and 19mm and 24mm rear axles so I could get two adapters and carry far less tools with me.

Time to spend some pennies and save room in my tool roll :evil
