Now there's a good idea for photos.....time to move down to VA so I can actually get some fun ones in the pics without all the laws of MA to worry bout.

Finally got the rifle in the middle finished, 18" chambered in 300BLK.
Already got parts ordered for the next build.

Here it is with the Harris bipod on it

Hopefully I can get some sub-sonic loads soon so Bolt Dog can give up the ear muffs

    I wouldn't worry.

I'm sure the clips are empty.

    Piston or GI

If piston, did you get the one with the "switchblock"

If so, do you think it was worth it?

I am thinking about the exact same setup.

When did Noveske make a 7inch? The shortest SRB I see on their site is 10.5 inches.

GI. Its borderline overgassed (but never had any failures yet), I might put on a heavier buffer to be on the safe side.

No, this is one of my own creations. I got the lower from noveske and built the rifle around that.

The barrel is actually made by Mossberg. Got it new for $125.

Thanks for the reply. I was considering on the Noveske 10.5 piston with the stwich block, but I would save about a grand if I go with GI.

    Decisions decisions....

Piston is heavy and overrated. My AK-47 is piston, people are acting like its the newest greatest invention. Maybe 70 years ago...
