    did you get that feeling of transition as you crossed back into the States, as I wrote, "different country, different life"?

    the border is a demarcation line in so many ways.

    I'm grateful for the bump, it looks like I'll be taking the Trans Lab to NFLD to visit some friends next summer.

    you're welcome. take some time on the Trans Lab, Labrador is a destination in itself, but most riders blast through, treating it only as a transit route to Newfoundland. there's more there.

    hmmmm, now i feel left out, disenfranchised...ancient, old as freakin' dirt, big as a freakin' bus, and my thinkin' tends to plumb, level, and square, except when provoked.

    help, i must be lost in the proverbial wasteland, or somethin'.
