The picture of the 4th of July sidecar generated interest, so with the help of Drone I have made a short picture essay of the build.
This all started last fall on a trip to DMC, and a "cook's" tour of the facility. Fortunately I was able to tag along behind a couple that asked Jay all the questions that one usually thinks of a day later.
The Yellow book, and lurking on the Adventure Hacks web page gave a lot of useful information during the assembly.
Changed the trail reducing lower triple clap.
Short trips around Santa Barbara County, have been a learning experience, and a big smile.

    Arivval, a very big box.

First look at the matching paint work, perfect.

Your shop looks suspiciously- pathologically- clean, and I see a box of latex gloves in there too.
Is this whole "build" just a photoshop excercise?
    Paranoid Texans want to know.

Used a Bosch laser level to align the sidecar.

Starting from the left, control for sidecar ride hight, Heated jacket control, small handle bar light, and switch for sidecar head lights.

A 25% reduction in miles/gallon, suggested the need for extra fuel. Rotopax claims there is no vapor leak so I'll give it a try with a 3 gallon pack.

It's a classic, Elizabeth posts up because someone asked for more pictures of the rig and everyone comments on the room.

Not one comment about the unopened shipping crate with its arse sagging in the middle, nor the fire ax hanging on the shop door... I'm a widdle disappointed.

Elizabeth, hope you enjoy your new rig :thumb, and thanks for sharing.

I am not trying to be negative ..... I am just not sure it's best to have that fuel inside of the sealed trunk. Might be best outside - so it can breathe when necessary....

Beautiful bike and shop BTW. :clap

Dave,I totaly agree. The minute I smell anything even remotely suspicious the Rotopax will be exchanged for a water Rotopax (white )

OK, when I originally joined Adventure Rider, I used elizabethmuir as my user name. Seemed like a good idea at the time, a nice way to remember a beautiful schooner.

    No new pictures.
I've put 700 miles on the rig.
0 to 70 mph, in town, two lane twisties, plus the highway.
The only adjustment to date was to add a little more lean out.
Will get busy and take some more pictures.

    Still smiling.
