This past Tuesday morning was the first snowfall that challenged a decision to ride. With the Heidenau K66 LT SnowTex tires on the Vespa and the wiring on my Gerbing gloves repaired and ready to go I ventured off.

Snow covered varied from slush to packed. The biggest adjustment needed to occur between my ears since riding in snow is not really like riding. More of a puzzle to be solved. Here's shot from one of the stops. Another half dozen pictures on my blog in a post titled My Snow Riding Checklist. Hat's off to all you guys who venture out on motorcycles much taller and heavier than my scooter.

It was 29F in the morning when I left. Cold --- it's all in the mind!
