Fascinating! The packaging of the front wheel drive set up sure looks sleek :eek1

The only thoughts I have on two wheel drive bikes are the horrible memories of being terrorized trying to control an old Rokon (of unknown to me model)

fing hell that was a beast to try and stay upright on, as a kid. :lol3

Looks like it is based on the Odes MCF450.

In the past all of the Christini bike were based on Hondas, but this one looks a little "different", and I'm not sure how it could be with an $8000 price tag. And surely they could've done better than that goofy looking ebay headlight?

Interesting, although the specs are still a bit vague. Anyone know if this is carb'd or EFI? Stator wattage? Would rather have seen a 6sp wide ratio tranny.

At least the military is helping with their initial cash flow.

The bike looks to have been put together with random aftermarket parts (as far as accessories). Vapor, cheesy headlight, the tail light assembly looks like the Edge LED kit hooked to a mx fender with sheet metal screws:puke1. No thanks.

What do you guys expect? It's a 4k bike with a 4k FWD system. And who cares if the street equipment is cheap? It usually 'falls off' after the first ride anyway. This way you'd have $100 worth of parts sitting in a box in the garage instead of $300.

9.8 litre fuel tank on an all wheel drive trail bike? Won't be a great distance between refills.:huh

When i saw the 2 stroke powered model(gasgas 300) was more expensive then the 4 my though was it had to be a Chinese engine. I hope he doesn't kill his reputation whith this 450. Someone needs to put 200 hours on one and report back.

    This.

News flash to you miserable FF's that are never satisfied...if they started with a high end $8000 DS, and added a $2500-4000 AWD system, you'd bitch about the price.

I commend them for the effort to offer an affordable 450cc AWD bike, despite the compromises. It'll get better:deal

If they drop the $2500-4000 AWD and have a $3k-5k 450 DS they'd sell them for sure! :evil

AWD complexity on a budget bike? Maybe the AWD stuff is fine but the frame falls apart or the wheels implode? Na.

Easy there, big fella... It's not exactly a Porsche/Subbie/Volvo/Lamborghini.

It's an over-run principal that when the rear wheel is no longer generating fwd momentum, the front wheel via sprag/dog whaterver kicks in...

Not exactly a center diff equipped AWD.
