Nice looking unit, like all your stuff.
Idea Wife put it on herself. Now that I see it and compare it to other pics, is this backward? :huh I suppose it doesn't matter if the idea is to spread out the surface area. Then again....
    Thanks Rick!

:clap Well made products that look good too! :clap

Rack was super easy to install.
I did bust a screw on the skid plate from overtightening, :shog but simple to replace.

I would buy from Rick again. :smile6 He sent personalized communication about item and mailing. Much nicer than buying from a big manufacturer.

Hope to get the master cyl res guard for F650GS when finished w/re-design.

    Thanks Rick!

Are you still selling the fat fot fr 2004 Dakar? How much and postage to Australia postcode 2902?

Is it possble to use spacers to increase effective length of the stand too?

Hey rick thanks for the prompt shipping of everything. The top plate mounted up no problem.
I am having one problem that I do not know how to resolve. I am not sure if it is because of the height of the top plate or the caribou panniers I have installed.
I have attached a picture. In the picture are red arrows. The area that the arrows are pointing to gets extremely hot. To the point that I am pretty sure that it will either melt the Ortlieb tail bag I intend to place on the plate or the contents within. So hot that the powder coat is getting small bubbles in it.

Any idea on how to cut down on the heat transfer from the exhaust to the tailplate ?

    Rick,
Photos of your handiwork look great and the praise from satisfied customers is enough to convince me that I should pursue this...so please count me among the other eager riders who await your completion of a 2001-2005 F650 Dakar rack plate.

    Hey Rick,

Got the RR cover and MC cylinder cover! They look great.

I lowered my Dakar and installed a standard centerstand so I'd like to take that black CS skid plate off your hands.

    Sent PM.

    Rick,
Can I order my 2nd rack & the big foot. I sold my 1st rack to a buddy as I was on the verge of selling the bike. Now, have come to realise that 1 bike isn't enough and I now need a new rack.
    PM you with address details.

Rick, I love my rack from you! My bike was apart for some winter work when it arrived, so it took a few days to get the bike together and take it out with a load. It goes on fast, holds a good load , has many holes for tie-down, it's ideal for my purposes. Also I love that I have access to the seat release while the rack is on my '05 Dakar.
Great product, Great price, fast ship, friendly vendor--What more could you ask?
    Thanks, Rick!!
