Seriously, I would assume it's full speed ahead since the shakedown earlier this month. No news in the daily rag.

I think some folks believe you have some big inside scoop besides the newspaper.

Bernie's paying you to drum up interest isn't he. :lol3

As far as I know, NASCAR isn't planning to race there.

    :lol3

They should build a banked oval around the F1 track an run the races at the same time.

Hundreds? As I understood it, it was a $100 deposit for the ability to buy a seat license for $1000-5000!

By comparison, we paid about $850 for two covered seats at Monza in 2003.

Already have my hotel booked, just need tickets...I'll be waiting for the GA tickets as well.

Ah, even worse. I misread the announcement to say that the 100 got you on the list to buy actual TICKETS, not a PSL. Screw that shit. I'll be mucking it up with the other commoners on a grassy berm somewhere.

I paid the $100 for the first indy GP, it worked out brilliantly (for them). I ended up shelling out $275 / seat for each and every seat I bought for the first, second and third times I attended.

They called me each time and talked me through the purchase.

First time, great seats on the start / finish line.

Second time, I was literally afraid of heights, as we were at the TOP of the rickety ass grand stands just down the first straight from the start / finish.

Third time, a turn in the mid-course...which was prominently featured in the news coverage of fans going ape-shit about the tire debacle. :lol3

I've got my rooms booked for Montreal and tickets purchased. F1 in Austin....not really interested.
