Some time ago, we've made a fairing for the G650X (http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=622796) and some people asked if it would be possible to make something for other bikes.

Would the BMW F650GS owners be interested in something like this? It's just a sketch, but you should get the idea...

If you kept the price in the $200 range there would be some interest.

I see that there would be some interest - great! Yeah, I hope to keep the price in about 150-180$ range (plus P&P). Any other comments? Which one of those 2 option in you opinions looks better?

    Number one:

I am interested too. Especially if you make the headlight a panel so I can fit better lights - like the G650X one you made :D

And I also vote for number 2

#2 looks better. Ditto on the backing/standoff. OEM is two piece and not needed if built into the screen. Will they be lexan or plastic?

How about making a fairing that looks sometging like this, and another part that wraps around the fake tank but not as far to the front as the stock? I go :baldy every time I have to remove it, and it would be soo nice to have a fairing that just came off a bit more easy!

I like the looks of #2. I would also add to get rid of the two stock turn signal side plates as well. I don't think there is any reason to have 4 bolts per side holding it either like in the stock turn signal panels. Integrate that into the fairing to eliminate them. That way the fairing will go seamless into the faux tank side panels.

    Thanks for considering us. :clap
