I went to their website and used their tool to create a quote using only the best and ultimate options. It ended up being over $2000 for both wheels in black.

If you go tubeless spoked you should be able to... which Woody's can do.

If I get an F700gs does the dual disc up front make it harder to find a hub to make tubeless spoked wheels?

Nobody can this know since the bikes are not out yet.

But if the spacing between both discs is the same as on the F800GS then it won't be a problem, just need the right wheel spacers to take down the axle diameter from 20mm to 17mm.

call me crazy but you can just have the wheel built on the existing hub. The hub has nothing to do with the wheel being tubeless or tubed. Unless you're looking for swap out wheels. If that's the case just order the hub from Bikebandit when the microfiche is out.

You are crazy Mark. But I will look forward to you telling us the part number of the "hub" once the microfiche is out. :D

    Hi,

I am thinking about the spoke wheel upgrade to my 2011 F650GS Twin (2 cylinder). Tubeless. I read all the threads and posts I could find, but still have a few questions. Can you tell me:

MY QUESTIONS (F650GS Twin responses only):

    - Exactly what size rims did you end up using on the F650GS Twin (both front and rear)?

    - Why is going with a slightly narrower rim in front (2.1" vs. stock 2.5" for cast) and much narrower rear rim (2.5" vs. stock 3.5" for cast) recommended for spoked wheels? Moreover, how will going with narrower front and rear wheels change pavement ride?

    - I am still debating if I should go with 21" fronts of my F650GS Twin or stay with the 19". I am a 70% on / 30% off-road rider. So, I still ride a lot on paved roads around Mid-Atlantic states. I understand Woody's does not offer a 21" in tubeless option. Can anyone help me understand the benefits of going 21" Front rim over 19"?

    - How will going with a narrower 21" Front spoke change pavement ride vs. stock 19" cast?

    - Does anyone know how the spoked vs. cast wheels weight ?

    Greatly appreciate your responses.
