I went with the GSA because it came equipped with most of the stuff I would want to add to the regular GS. Taller windscreen and GPS mount, wider foot pegs, aux lights, comfort seat, lower engine bars, rear luggage racks, a cool brake lever  and a larger fuel tank.

But since they don't, the question was asked and we've got a lot of good response to the question.

Is is such a big imposition to you to ask questions on a site that is designed for that very thing? Just curious.

Seems these days people want to restrict the free speech of others and bully people because they just happened to be a new guy on the site. I've said this before...I was a "noob" once here, but I came here with 45 years of offroad / Motocross/ Trials / TT / Road Race ....racing experience.

Being a "noob" doesn't signify anything and making fun of or bullying the new guys here doesn't absolutely nothing to enhance this online community of motorcycle enthusiasts. If you feel like bullying and hazing people, go find another more appropriate place on the web. Baring that, be kind to the new guys, be helpful if you can and try not to make yourself feel better at their expense.

I think you take that "bullying" (as you call it) way to seriously.

Perception is reality...and the "noob" thing is getting old. It's simply beating up on the new guy, it's not remotely funny and really should stop. All of you are above that kind of thing aren't you?

If you need a hint...welcome the new guy, help him if he has any questions, be respectful and strive to make this forum a place where people are accepted, no looked down upon or marginalized because they just signed up.

    Respectfully....

I'm thinking pretty hard about purchasing this 2014 F800 GSA.

    Retail 13,550.00
    Enduro Pkg. 400.00
    Luxury. 400.00
    LED Fog. 350.00
    Destination. 495.00
    Total. 15,195.00

Can I ask what you guys are typically paying? Please PM me.

    Thanks.

Mine was about $15,000 something minus tax and license. You're right in the ball park. I also added a XD-4 Helmet and an additional 4 year warranty, then tax and license....it was up in the $18,000 range.

    Great bike!
