se a hair dryer on the decals to ease in their removal. Not too hot...
well, I finished the OBCDR. Dropped the beemer crossing the Malheur river, but survived overall. I'll post the video of the big splash when I get it.
What's next? WABDR?
Edit: for any of you considering it, let me just whet the appetite. Saturday morning, we were woke up by two bull elk clashing horns just outside our tent. If that isn't getting close to God and nature, I don't know what is. Best damn ride ever.
Post up that ride report. I just did the WABDR and thought it was awesome. I've got my sights set on the OBCDR next year and was trying to decide if I should ride my F800 or rig up WR250R for multi-day. Sounds like your F800 did OK.
Did the WABDR and the OBDCR. I took the WR on the OBDCR and the F8 on the WABDR. If I were to do it again I would take the F8 on both. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=503392&highlight=hodakaguy
German Autumn 2011
My first attempt at a ride report below.
Our trip up the Flinders a week ago, hope you enjoy.
Took a ride last sunday up the Alpine Loop and into Wasatch State Park to check out the changing leaves. Didn't get any other pictures, the ride was too nice to stop.:huh
I rode up to Fourmile Lake at the base of Mt. McLoughlin (9,495 ft.) in the southern Cascade Range this weekend. The first winter storm of the year was just starting to roll in. In a couple of days the mountain will have its first coat of snow, and the Forest Service road I rode in on will be a mud pit and/or buried in snow until June. Ah well, summer was nice while it lasted.
My ride 'La Gringa' and I @ Atacama Desert, Chile.
nice Pic Alberto!
Where did you get those mirrors from? i'm in the market as I broke one of mine on some single track in Squamish.
Hey David - that is a mighty fine pic! I envy you the greenery! Love the borders and the detail in the trees... Kev
Hey Mark, I bought them at a market in the middle of nowhere in Ecuador ... might be a bit hard to get them
Here's a photo to keep the thread going
Hope it holds Northern Highlands, Peru.
Thanks Kevin. I've been having a lot of fun with the new version of Color Efex Pro 4.
how not to do a water crossing...
Edit: I should note that the first crossing was successful. I would embedd it but that feature is disabled here at work
Here's a picture of my new little baby
and I am very happy to join your group :)
Now that is really something! Awesome!
You'll need tires and mirrors to go with that box! Didn't know they came in plain brown either.
Seriously though, welcome aboard.
I have had mine for 2 weeks and I'm love'n it!
Just waiting on barkbusters, engine guards and knobbies so I can fully enjoy her
Now thats a easter egg!
