I just finished clicking though the last 59 (!) pages of pictures. You guys rule! I'm a couple of years away (yep, a noob) but I can't wait to get back on two wheels. Sold my last bike out of necessity, but now I'm saving every penny I can. I'll be looking at- and drooling over all these terrific pictures. Thank you all and keep it up! :clap

Great looking bike, man! Is that the Wunderlich tall screen?

FYI. I put that 3M Solas tape on my Happy Trails boxes too. Then about two weeks later I decided to take it off. I wouldn't come off! That shit sticks worse that Krazy Glue! I had to pull out the citrus Goo Gone and a heat gun to get it off. Took me two hours!

Does it get in the way if you're standing on the pegs?

A wee bit, but it's acceptable. Once I get around to putting on the bar risers all should be well.

    .... and no crashbars either!:eek1
On that kind of rocky terrain, a simple drop could realy damage the radiator!

I finally got my brand new F800GS :clap Bye bye to that thumper-japanese-thingy...

Surprisingly it was delivered with Pirellis Scorpion Attack. The original accessories is the BMW bash plate, OBC, LED-indicators and centralstand.

Next up I will browse through the Touratech catalogue :). Will probably also get a lower wind screen. The original makes the wind hit me right at the neck, causing an irritating noise even with ear plugs inserted. When I´m standing up the noise dissapeares. Maybe I will try the 650-wind screen instead, comments?

Touratech large windscreen, brake fluid res guards front and back, and brushguards, BMW skid plate and bar riser, Wolfman tank panier, BMW top case. Metzler Karoo tires; wail on the slab but solid on the gravel and tracks. Can't decide on paniers....

Going to ride it for a while like this and see what's next.
