The Grand Teton GS
Here are a few "artsy" shots from in and around the San Diego, CA area.
Nice, Kevin. What lens did you use on that one?
Hiya David! Long time... Thanks for asking. Shot with a Nikon D2X with 70-200 lens, but the real magic came from post-processing with Capture NX 2 software from Nikon and Nik Software's "Color Efex Pro 3.0" filters - Vignette Blur, Darken/Lighten Center... Amazing stuff. www.niksoftware.com (shameless plug!).
I call Otay Lakes on this one:
I can really imagine this picture on the last page of the catalog, with a few letters, randomly displayed over it, and a fold up on the side...
Great photos though, i'm sure you must have a few more wich you'l be posting over the next few days, right?
------still enjoying the happy trail boxes?
Hey... thanks skamikazee! <blushing> If there are any catalog owners out there, contact me!
The reality is: More riding = more fotos. Now... if I could just get to that "more riding" part!</blushing>
That's some desolute sh*t out there dude... Carrying extra gas?
Hey Ben, are they the Heidi K60's your running there?? how'd you find them in the rocky stuff, in the sand and on the tarmac??
able to share with the folks here on how much the fuel bladder cost you(12Litre bag)?
looks like the solution to getting a long fuel range instead of spending 2k on the touratech fuel tank...
thanks dude! i think it will cost me more to get it shipped to singapore!
maybe around 250 Sing Dollars for me to buy it...
thats some serious ... wow. and sweet.
on the other hand, my measly morning stroll photo, now most definitly emasculated
Good to know that combo works. I am going to need a new rear much sooner than the front TKC and will probably get the K60 for the back now instead. I wasn't sure about going that route, I've always kept to matched tires in the past, but wasn't thrilled with the idea of getting the quick wearing rear TKC again. I went with the TKCs to replace the original Anakees since I wasn't able to find a supplier to get the K60s quick enough for my summer trip. Still need to pin down a supplier that ships to or is in Canada.
I just had a rear K60 dropped on my doorstep yesterday. I'll be running this combo very, very soon myself. Glad to hear it works too.
Moto-Amore in California http://www.moto-amore.com/ ships to Canada. Had them deliver a set of K60's a few months ago.
This one is on the way to go White Water Kayaking on the Kern.
This one is on the driveway, I just installed the Soft Bags
Hellow Guys and Girls,
I am new here.
This is my BMW F800GS
I have now 8888 km's that will be around 5522 miles.
My bike is now 3 mounths old.
Oh and I am from Belgium.
I really love my bike.
Normally next year we are going to the Alps, Italië and Scotland.
But first I have to find a solution for my bagage problem. I don't want panniers because they are to expensive.
I´m another one who´s new here. Got my brand new 2009 800 GS two weeks ago, and it´s been a great time since. The weather here in Sweden sucks at this time of year though, cold and lots of rain.
Here´s a couple of pictures from today, cloudy white skies and about 5 degrees celsius.
