This vid....Is nothing special....as compared with other fantabulistic vid's here.... But I wanted to show off my mic hack on my contour.... A $20 lav mic from the shack.....a little solder....and even at 80mph..... You can talk.... A fine fix to the terrible contour mic issues......

Why stay home on your comfy couch when you can sprint accross the border for 3 a day ride around a lake..?
Mostly in rain. With not so waterproof gear. :D

A 1500km shakedown ride around Lake Ladoga (RUS) squeezed into a 25min "RR" video.

DISCLAIMER: Bomber generation? Move along. Nothing to see here.
Does not include wheelies nor burn outs.
Mostly just russian road rage, "modern" architecture and tons of rain.

Grab a beer and have a russian experience. :1drink

    Ride safe!

Miikka - awesome footage of that narrow, slippery bridge (about 6:00 in). That took guts!

    Thanks for your comments fellas!

I told my wife crossing that bridge was a well calculated risk. :D

If that bridge was in my backyard it would be a walk in the park.
When it's on the other side of the border in BFE (well, not quite) it does raise few IF's inside my helmet.

But that's what this game is all about!? :freaky

ps. Made a mental note: set aside your phone + spot on dry ground when doing the next crossing..
(my riding buddy's phone was dead by that point. Rallye Pro's waterproof pocket...not so waterproof!) :puke1

(keep sound speakers low, I use the horn 3 times and it is loud)

I write (in Greek) that since the bike is heavy I decide to wait for my friends to come from the top and assist... or start taking pics and making fun of me :D

Testing my GOPRO HD helmet mount for the first time. The angle of the camera is a bit to low, sorry about that.

Hit the "gear" shaped icon to watch in 1080 and hit the bottom right button to go full screen.

    Fantastic as always.

I have tried to use 2-3 cams in a video I'm editing and it can be a nightmare.
Can you tell me how you sync up all the cameras you use?

    Thanks and keep them coming.

Glad you liked it. As far as sync goes, my editing software allows me to run pretty much unlimited video tracks at the same time. I find a reference either visual or audio and sync all the layers together. Then I play the sequence and choose the layer I like best. In the case of this video since they were short sequences I just eyeballed the sync. What makes it more seamless is that as I switch between cameras I keep the audio from one camera so you see the cuts but don't hear them. Helps if you've been doing it for 16 years. :D

I downloaded it and saved it (as I did with your other videos) in my motorcycles video collection, I hope you don't mind! :D

I don't mind at all. Glad you liked it. My wife watched it last and even she enjoyed it. Now she understands why sometimes I limp a bit :D
