After looking at your pic... I think they sold me the wrong mount.
There were 2 they said would work and they were out of the one and assured me that the one I posted would work...hmmmmmm :baldy
Thanks for the quick reply David. What mount did you use?

    Thanks guys.

I think I have a different mount than both of you...I have an Email in to Twisted to confirm that
    A. the mount is right or wrong
    B. If it is the correct mount how do I connect the lights to it.

I don't know how you'd connect the VisionX lamps to that mount. I think the folks at Twisted Throttle screwed up. Hope they do you right.

Did you have any problems installing 55w in reflector? (melting, warping, etc...)

I don't know, because of the heat. Somebody said that 55W HID has a higher temperature output than the 55W halogen. Well, I guess they were wrong.........

May be thinking of the color temperature of the bulb - I believe HIDs have a higher color temperature than halogens. The halogens are somewhere around 3,000K, while HIDs are higher

Check out the discussion on color temperature on wikipedia, probably more information than most people can stand (or understand) but it gives you a reference. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature While surfing, I also found this gem on the various automotive lighting standards.

Denali kit from Twis. Throt. First night time test tonight and WOW I love these lights. Will come in handy spotting bambis' here in the PA woods.
Pretty easy install once you get the correct mount for the bike.

Where can I get my hands on a set of English instructions? I am going to install the lights tomorrow. The Italian instructions have me scratching my head.

I saw the photo with the damaged reflector. Can be caused by 3 things. Overheating, oxygen entering and oxidizing a bare aluminum reflector or UV degradation.

I use a 35 watt Philips D2 Xenon HID lamp and all Philips lamps have a doped quartz sleeve around the Arc tube. The Doped quartz blocks the UV ( ultraviolet ) from damaging the headlight.

I also made sure my reflector was airtight by sealing the wire hole but most aluminized coatings today are sealed with a laqueur type material.

The standard lamp is an H7 55 watt so my 35 watt will not overheat it (watts = heat)

Here is my reflector after 8k miles with the Philips HID lamp. No damage whatsoever
