    Hi,

This may sound like a dumb question, but has anyone used the additional touring screen brace with the stock 800GS screen.

I've got a TT spoiler (which I like) but it does flap around a bit over pot holes and bumps, which I find annoying and thought the brace might sort it out.

    Thanks

The stock screen's contour doesn't follow the same contour as the touring screen, so the support bracket won't work. You'd have to make your own and drill holes in it.

I use the stock higher brace that comes with the BMW factory "touring" screen. The screen sucked but I used a TT windscreen and just drilled through to use the higher holes. Much more rigid.

I have... I originally got it and drilled holes into the Powerbronze screen. Then I decided to go back to the the 800 screen with the Touratech spoiler. Left the brace on there with the rubber grommet, and the screen rested against it just fine without having to drill holes. It's not necessary if you're just using the 800 screen but if you have an extra spoiler on, it would help alleviate some of the pressure. It does help a little with the TT spoiler wobbling but not significantly. Ultimately if you like the look and want to spend the money then go for it. It does look good ;)
