Bears are not scary, People are. Last year a couple weeks after we where up there a guy lit another guy on fire. For those that where there it was At the gas station just a couple miles away. A guy walks in and throws some kind of fluid on the clerk and lit him on fire killing him. True story. Anyway don't worry about bears, this is a state run campground and not out in the boonies. And if you want I can swing by and tell them not to bother you. This is a good time for sure, but with the shorter days and the cooler weather, long day rides get cut short. Mainly getting started in the morning. Lots of good roads dirt/gravel. Last year after you all left I tried riding the Rail Road grade but it wasn't very good and the place I was at was for walking anyway. I have my class sewed up this year with 3 remaining events, But This/that weekend I am going to mind my Grandson as he still needs to do a little work in his class to get the year end results I want him to achieve. His mom can't do it but I am working on his grandma and another subject to see if I can come, But my priorities are with the skinny bikes after the whole year of competing.
