I'm sure Fite will start a more formal trip report but he isnt home yet. A few of us met at 0900 just South of Potters for a little Fall trip to Seward for lunch. I believe we had a total of 11 riders including Fly, Mud, TG, Fite, and myself. The rest will chime in when they get back. Left AKMuds place in Wasilly at 0730 with 28* showing on his temp gauge! :hmmmmm

I had grips, vest, and seat on boil with double layers and that seemed to keep the chill managable.

Made a few spectacular stops along the way to include Primrose and Hope bridge. After a tasty lunch in Sewar-town, I bailed early so the others can fill in any bits I missed.

A special shout out to "CHARLE" in the Suburu who gets the A-HOLE OF THE MONTH award. :dizave

Hope ya'll enjoyed this epic Alaska Day! I sure did and thanks for having me along, boys!

NorthernBoxer and I went south today, as well. I am pleased to say it was sunny and beautiful in Hope. That's where we had lunch instead of Seward. What a gorgeous day! Pics later. The boy took them and he went to a movie.

had work to do on a nice day. Up on the roof, cleaning chimney, fixing light wind damage, sealing skylight, spitting mass wood, etc. Rode to Girdwood later, almost. Hit the flagger wrong just before so I turned back in stopped traffic and ran errands (homedepot and such to make more work for myself) and headed home. To do more work. Spousal pressure got the best of me today, but was still able to flog the 'Strom a bit.

What a motley crew you all were today. Don't waste any time, IT will be here soon. Ride, ride, ride.....

Annie and I are preparing for our Fall Ride South as well. Down to Moab, UT to watch Hacky and Justin kick butt in the GS Challenge. Hope we have as good of a time as it looks like this motley crew had on your ride to Seward.

I think the sign on the door said it would be open until the 30th. You might want to call and check because I wasn't paying that much attention.
