HERE YE, HERE YE...COME ONE, COME ALL....The Farewell Ride and Campout at Ghost Rancho:freaky As some may know, our ADV brother ShadySmurf is headed east to a new duty station. The plan is to give Shady a send off like we did for Schickmeister:evil We will also do some prerunning of possible RTB 3 routes:deal I will have my camper down there and will try to get some other amenities down there. I will have my truck and Polaris Ranger for runs to town or for water. We are off burn ban so we can have campfire unless they put it back on Monday. I will start gathering wood this weekend and touch up the shredding....Menu will be decided....BYOB...We will try to have DD for those that stay in town and don't camp(Contact SOG about rooms...he reserved some already). Once the partying begins...the riding ends...Ghost Rancho is pretty rough in places...but dry Shady:lol3

Fun is guaranteed. Sanity? Not so much. :D And I'm the DD. Unless I decide I have been cured and can drink. Uhhh....then I guess you're all pretty much screwed.

Oops. Even if ya can't make the earlier ride/festivities/campfire/night of tent terror , join us at Loco Coyote for the send-off lunch on Sunday.

Had to. I had already reached my quota of "old guy in a urine-soaked tent" jokes.

Anyone who has been to one of ghost's campouts can tell you there is plenty of fun to be had. We ripped and snorted around today with shady and Odie and a couple of their buds. Good guys all.

Got my kitchen pass approved. Let me know what you need me to bring to help out. Wife offered to follow me up Friday to drop off any supplies we need.

Man, that's good! I thought we might have used up all our luck yesterday with the later than expected arrival home. Did ya use the "buddy with a flat tire" excuse? Are you camping?

Well, I have been shredding and getting things ready for the weekend...keeps looking like it will rain but does not do it:cry Hopefully, the county will not go back on burn ban. Anyone want to help cut wood if we are a go??? BTW...this is an open event....Even if you don't know Shady but want to get out in the woods and away....come on:evil

Like I get to pick. I just thought chops would be easy. And yeah. Tasty, too. ;)

Dog is pretty far down the list.

Well, I'm supposed to head to Arkansas to ride, but Issac seems to be shifting a little west so I might end up putting that ride on hold. Since I missed the Beat the Heat campout at Ghost ranch, I'd be up for this one. But it is all weather dependent.

I doubt that I can make it. I'm afraid to ask for Kitchen Pass. :huh
I've been approved for Two weeks in Wyoming starting the 8th. :D
I'm not a very smart man, but I'm not dumb! :rofl

You guys have a blast! :freaky
