Never been much of a Honda fan but when I started searching for a roadster it seems they make the best so I had to get one

Oops, should have said "the redline on the car IS higher." I knew they were up in the 9ks.

Very nice car, I hear that the transmissions in those are quite nice to shift, even better than my Miata.

They're nice cars but the two I know of have been through multiple clutches. They make a nice turbo kit for it. :evil

A turbo kit should help with clutch life. :D

    S2000s are sweet, I'm jealous.

You must do all right, you seem to have a lot of toys and acquire new ones with some regularity... guns, bikes, cars...

Me, I do a lot of dreaming but it rarely manifests itself into anything more than a used $2000 bike that I keep for a week and then sell at a loss...

I do ok as a cnc machinist. It helps that I have put in nine years at the same company. I also have a car shop that I do some buying and selling of cars from. If I cant buy low and sell for a profit I don't buy. I also work on friends and families cars.

And you're welcome. 212,000 miles on my '03 Acura TL-S that I just gave to my 16 year old, still runs like new and looks good also.

Tasty cars, those TL's. Especially that generation. Current ones are growing on me but still look a little too 'plush'.

I think the third generation TL's are some of the best looking cars on the road!

Is this turning into the new AdvOhio thread or something?

Dave is a damn good guy. I would recommend his shop to anyone.

Nice S2000, I've been around Mid-Ohio in one and have taken quite a few labs around the auto cross driving them. They are just nice, flickable, quick cars, and come with the reliability and parts network of a Honda, hard to go wrong.

S2Ks are nice. I always hated the lack of horsepower though. I got my midlife crisis out of the waywhen I was 24. Bought an 02 trans am ram air. As far as roadsters go the Honda is one of the best out there unlessyou really want to spend money.
