David, you're just a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark thread!
OK, are you 005.5? Are you currently outside a bar in Chillicothe, Ohio?
wrong thread , your thinking of toxic britney
Was there a tag photo somewhere in this dirty cop thread?
Tag. Rt. 39 east of Mansfield.
Next. The retired DR tag machine.
A skid plate for the gravel roads the PO didn't do?
That's what I ask him. It looks to me like he went to the SW-Motech web site went down the list and order one of everything. The skip plate doesn't have a scratch on it. I hope this bike grow on me so far I am not digging the slow speed handling and the low seat height. The Ktm990 felt like it was more my style. Should have never test rode it.
Consider the OEM gel seat, it is higher, wider, overall nicer and way more comfortable.
What tires are on it?
Stock tires that are shot. I just ordered a set of Shinko 705. Should have them Wednesday. I never mounted tubeless tires but it looks easy enough on youtube.
Next, Little Phil's Statue
I know exactly where thats at and it aint far from me. But I just got back from returning BigOhio's KLR and retrieving my Sabre...I dont feel like gearing up again.
The 705's will be better, they have a very "pointy" crown, and the bike falls side to side very easily.
I have a 705 rear ready, the Battlewing probably has 3k miles left.
Just do it, I put it there just for you.
if I didnt have to be at work at 1:30 I probably would.
After yesterday's ride, I've talked myself out of ever getting the 705s. The conditions were slick enough that a non-knobby would have been painful.
I dont plan on doing much off roading with the Strom and hope to put some miles on it over spring break the 1st week in april.
Knobbys on the WR in the fall, winter, and spring 50/50 tires in the summer.
Ride to Virginia Beach with us, leaving Thursday afternoon, back Sunday night.
