It looks like there was another "White rider" behind blue rider, in the video it seems like blue rider stayed up.

Nope. The Red Bike lost rear traction then stepped out then back into a high-side.

It just goes to show how quickly things can "go sideways"

    Fixed.

Seriously, never, ever, ever try to cross a flooded road. It's quite possible that the road will be eroded away and get seriously deep, seriously quickly.

It's one of the "real-world" lessons my folks taught me. They were old-school, raised on a farm in the Midwest.

I can, however understand the attraction -- really, how hard could this be, it's just *water*. :deal

Yep, when he started across the water I was wondering when he would fall in a hole and get pinned... and then it almost happened! I've walked across a road that had about 6" of water going across it. It was hard to maintain footing even with that little.

What an idiot. He could have easily drowned. Other people might have gotten hurt trying to help him or save his life. And he lost the bike.

I hope they have a stupid motorist law in Colorado like they do in Arizona. If you enter a flooded wash and have to be rescued, the city will charge you the cost in manpower for your rescue. That includes the cost of recovering vehicles. He may have made it hidden because he realized he was showcasing his stupidity.

Glad the video will live on for all to see. They guy probably decided to make an insurance claim that his bike was stolen and wanted to get rid of the evidence.

Because he was one of the best F1 racers, ever.

Because it's a beautiful use of data acquisition and audio recordings to pay tribute to a man who died racing.

I think it was quite touching.
