Derp. Promoter for Gatorback couldn't reach agreement with land owners, wanted about a 1000% increase in fee. Sadly, Gatorback may be shut down for a long time...

So is anyone planning on attending this event other than me? Sorry if I missed its being discussed at the weekly meeting, I've been AWOL.

A fair amount of excitement, but not sure of attendance. Without discussion RCDR VP volunteered the club for assistance. If I go it won't be to work, but to enjoy. I haven't decided, but I'm inclined to not. To me it's just mx, & I'd rather have gone to the FIM TrialGP in Az.last week. But that's just me.

I plan to....doubt I will see much of the track. But feel I need to support the race being it's local and a huge event.

Agreed. I wish it were being held here when it wasn't 90+ degrees with 90+ humidity, but this may be a once in a lifetime event. Especially if we don't support it. Remember JAX Supercross??

Just purchased & received my General Admission tickets for Sat/Sun plus Pit Pass. Cost for that is $70 (plus tax/fees) for a total of $75.83.
Details printed on the ticket sheets are more detailed than what is shown in the ticket ad, and it makes me regret not spending $30 more and getting the Gatorback Club Ticket. Gatorback Club Ticket gives you admission for Thur - Sun (no biggie), but more importantly gets you ALL DAY Pit Passes (not just pre-race) AND gives you "private covered viewing" (which would come in handy if it rains). So now you know.

You're right, I can't read. But didn't want others to make the same mistake. Smart a..

The flying dutchman laid down the hammer this past weekend. Wonder which Tomac will show up; the Salt Lake supercross dead last to first/Hangtown obliteration, or the Tomac we saw the last 3-4 rounds. I think he's angry getting cooked by Herlings on home turf last weekend. Should be a good one :drink

Poorly advertised event. If I didn't see it here on the forum, I may not even know it was happening.

Motocross is still a small world. There's a reason why Charlotte dumped theirs after one year...

The USGP was a staple at Unadilla for like 20 years. It was so prestigious to go there and compete against the best in the world. Have our racers become premodanas? They practically have to beg riders to go to MXoN. I think Herlings winning last weekend might open some eyes. Do we know what US riders plan to compete?
