I was beginning to think these didn't exist anymore but I finally found one. 1990 Honda Elite 250, one owner with 1300 miles. I've owned a 1984 Honda Elite 125, 1985 Honda Elite 150, 85, 86 and 87 Honda Elite 250 and currently own a 1987 Honda Elite 150 with only 1200 miles. After buying my 87 Elite 150 I fell in love with the new body style and wanted a 89 or 90 Elite 250.

Thanks, I just wish it had a rack on the back. Does anyone know if one was available for these? I think the rack was standard on the 85-88 250. I know it has underseat storage but I don't think I can live without a topcase.

That is "go fast" pinstriping. Bet it adds at least another 10MPH.

    Nice ride. You lucky bugger.

    :huh

Just get a messenger bag. Timbuk2 makes some great ones and Sierra Trading Post usually has some killer deals on their site for new old stock.

I never paid much attention to the later models Elites. Until now.

That, Sir, is a absolutely great looking scooter. Sleek, clean, now classic lines. Like a fine older Porsche.

And while I love my 85' ch250 and it's great ride and bulletproof engine, it is ugly. It looks like, and is, an ugly 80's design. So is the Helix. Not sleek nor clean. A boxy sled.

You've got the best of both worlds...

Let's not get carried away here.

Upon very brief reflection, you are in fact correct.

I have been accused of having no style but even I feel stylish when I see the newer model.

Yep, that's the one. A guy in my scooter club knew I was looking for one and he sent me the link Saturday morning. 10 minutes later we struck a deal.

Yea, 85-88 Elite 250's are not too hard to find. The 89-90's are a different story. Please let me know if you find an 89 or 90.

That's a good question because, 1. The 89 or 90 Elite 250s are very hard to find. 2. If you ever do find one they are never in this kind of condition.

I've been searching for one for the past 4 years. I gave up 6 months ago and bought a 2010 Vespa GTS 300 super. Then on Saturday a guy in my scooter club emailed me a link to this one in Portland Oregon. 10 minutes later it was mine.

So I can't really answer your question because this is the first one I've ever seen. All I know is that they sold for $3399 back in 1990. http://www.ch250.net/techtips/16.htm
