Mario and Wayne were involved. Mike Ricci was in San Jose talking about a possible
    settlement.

    How lame is that? Wait...cancelled....nope.

What I heard was that the union had give in on everything for about a 45m cap....teams might play a mostly east vs. east and west vs. west remaining schedule (to defray costs) and then the proverbial all inclusive play-off scheme...I don't recall if it was a plan or just some sports jocks rambling on. :ear

It will be interesting to see how many of the NHL veterans are going to quit. Or go and play in russia. They get paid almost more there than in NHL. I´ve been lucky to be able to go watch some good hockey games. There is a bunch of NHL players playing in the Finish league.

Havent seen Horcoff play this season.
I have seen some stats that had Russia as the biggest importer of NHL players. They are mostly russian and tsech players.

Somebody mentioned Esa Tikkanen earlier. He´s now player/coach in (if I remember correcly) South Korea.

Just heard on the news. They are negotiating again. That would make for an extremely short season. Would be interesting to see how quickly they could start playing.

Esa Tikkanen (my favorite player of all time) is playing in South Korea of all places.

Nobody understood Tikkanese here, in Finland, Sweden, Norway or Germany... how the hell are the Koreans gonna understand him?
