Nice! And of course, since only ticketed passengers can go through security, you have no reason to stay! :lol3

If this had been a "Ride to Lunch" I would've been there. Another time perhaps....

This cool little town is alive with restaurants and more.

I'll join you guys at the Tidewater Grille, then ride back with you a bit so that I can take the Conowingo Dam across the river - as I am not so free with my money as CTom - too cheap to pay the bridge toll

Glenn, I'm gonna bag on you - I'm not feeling the love for riding in the rain today. Sorry.

So let's start talking about JULY.

Gents, I am going to be on the road to Montreal on the First Monday of July (which happens to be the 1st)

    So the question becomes;

    Do we bag July?
Do we organize a ride anyway?
Do we organize a ride *not* on the first?
Do we call in lazy and just have a beer somewhere in Baltimore?
    Other?

    What say ye?

I'm in, but prefer a shorter ride starting a little later, say 4:30. I'll try 4:00 but a long mtg may prevail.
Some of us work till 5:00 or so.
Sun is coming out, a little rain is fun.......down pours are saved for long trips.

How about another day for July, esp with July 4 holiday, say third Tues............ lots of clubs pick First Mondays.
    Hope to see someone.

Are you saying you are in for today, because if you are, then yes, we can leave at 4:30 and I can cut a few miles off the "long way".

    Hi Glenn
I'm saying I plan on riding. Hopefully I can be there by 4:00....4:30 at the latest.
    Generally 4:30 is better.

Okay, I don't mind rain, but I'm not a big fan of lightning. Not going to make it. Hopefully Steve sees this before leaving!

OK, so I too went to the start location in a four wheeled conveyance, in my case a pickup. Didn't see you Steve, but I was looking for a Red Honda of some sort.

Of course the rain had moved through by 4:15 and the sun even came out.

I sat on the bench and had a few libations -

But then I needed to get going again, so I needed a different kind of liquid:

to have the energy to go about the rest of my afternoon and evening.

    See you guys next time!:lol3

I'm sorry guys, we will all get back on track soon enough. Maybe a pickup RTE mid-July?

Saw the discarded bottles also....... Hope you didn't drink them all!!
I got stuck in the Baltimore City rain traffic.

BTW, First Monday is the Triumph RAT (Riders Association for Triumphs) meeting at Pete's that I'm trying to get involved with. So another day for the RTE would be good for me.

The RATs have two rides a month, some one day & some two days. Mostly street rides all over MD if anyone is interested. Also, First Sundays have two choices.........one is the BMW breakfast Ride at 8:00 am, all bikes are welcome and the second is a Free-for-all in Ephrata, PA which is a fun 2 hr ride and visit. Need to leave by 8 am. About 200 to 400 bikes attend.

I'm too busy with work & house construction for the long rides and just had my knee replaced, so looking for a few hour rides at a time to get back in shape.

Anyone want to try a second Mondays a few days away ??
