    So what to do, why hell just mount a new Michelin Anakee II on the rear of the Super Tenere. Only had 4 beers prior:1drink damn shaft drive is so easy. Let me grab another beer.....

    [IMG]

    BTW logged 8k out of the Anakee II I took off. Can't say my footpegs and kickstand faired that good from the outrageous lean angle these tires allow the big pig to lay down.:wink:

    Not super easy but I beat the cat!

    Cat dropped and the killer visible
    [IMG]

    Nice and clean bolt up once I got that header pipe shaved a little
    [IMG]

    Finished look, it sounds great! That Yosh pipe is nice. Bike FI is about the same but I got plans to have the ecu tuned so it's going to get a whole lot more power. 130 hp at rear plus I'm hoping.

    Just need some tires to mount and I could ride. That'll happen Thursday, holidays are killing me.

    Beginners luck may have saved him this go around:1drink

    Next question I'll be asking is "what's that puppy ginning rpm wise at 70 mph"

    In 6th gear: (speedometer dash reading)

    70MPH = 5300RPM

    78MPH = 6000RPM

    Guestimates taken on Spillway and for illustrative purposes only.

    And to answer your question, Roy: YES! :D

    ROY, Did you see my sprocket test run report above?

    I almost staged a pic of DQ holding the air gun with 5 extensions hooked up to the sprocket nut for a joke. .. :D

    Yea seen it, numbers are not to bad. That's in line with what a 750 Suzuki typically sees -1 up front. -1 is equal to 300 more rpm give or take a few.

    Y'all should have tried the air at least once and maybe luck would have been on your side. Splitting the cases ain't hard :lol3

    Ohlins 30 mil up front. This is jewelry in my world.
    [IMG]

    JRi rear shock, this is a super nice quality piece. Extremely light.
    [IMG]

    The bodywork is done and ready to have decals, numbers and product stickers added. Klrcaptain and Hybrid10 did an outstanding job on it.

    About 8 more weeks I'll shake her down at Talladega GP. I still have things to do, remove antifreeze, bleed front brakes one more time, add some DOT race Michelins, lose a few pounds and tone up the old body. This big 1000 is a handful at track speed.
