Everyone please post photos. I am really sad I did not get to go but I got to do my first night canyon and Pine Creek was phenomenal.

Also please link in this thread if you post in Ride Reports or Day Trippin'....just really like reading about the local riding.

Great pics Eric. Was nice to finally meet you at dinner and congrats again on the tank. I had a blast riding sweep with no significant incidents and every time we pulled up to someone with a problem it was fixed and being put back together! Perfect. Nice having a guy nicknamed McGuyver in front of you - certainly lived up to it with a couple weekend saving fixes for people and even tuned my sweep partners carb and cleaned the pilot jet while we were waiting one time! How nice is that? :clap

Great weekend and CTR did a very nice job putting everything together, especially the last minute change to the American Legion those folks were great hosts and really took care of us.

I rode the A loops both days and Day 1 ride started off with some great ST riding which ended all too soon when we had to take the roads around the peaks. Boo to the CNF for closing the Lipizzaner and other trails. After gassing up and getting through town we headed South to Munds Park for lunch are some pretty fun forest roads. Kudos to the Munds Park FD for a very satisfying lunch of hot dogs, burgers, potato salad, baked beans, chips and drinks. After lunch it was more fast forest roads before hitting the Kelly Canyon ST for some ledge riding through the tree's. CTR had quite a few spotters along the trails which was probably a good thing as I helped one rider get back on the trail and saw others getting assistance as well. Fun stuff.......just missing the moisture I was expecting.

The Saturday night banquet was a good time the place was full. It was great seeing familiar faces however the best part was Michelle Busch getting excited when she, and others, won something in the raffle. I brought home a KTM fleece blanket that has already been commandeered by Trish for the next camping trip ;)

Day 2 headed South on a loop via Mormon Lake Lodge and started off with more fun Kelly Canyon ST before some hitting the forest roads into Mormon Lake Lodge. We opted for a cold drink and a snack at the store instead of a full on lunch at the restaurant. The 2nd part of the ride was very scenic and went through country I've never seen before which was awesome. Great 2 track and forest roads for miles before dumping out on the Lake Mary road back into town.

In summary I had a great time really enjoyed the scenic routes, especially the areas I've never been too before. CTR did a great job and I'm sure the event will only get better.

Thank You CTR for a great weekend :clap

Nice pics EZ. On the Ashurst Lake one you can sure tell who was leading and who was in the back! The guy in the middle looks like he's in black face, Dert Gerl is living up to her name or like she just has a really good tan! :rofl
Looks like you found a great group to ride with.

    Great event CTR!!! :clap

Rode the "A" loop both days, beautiful scenery, great singletrack and just enough rocks to keep you on your toes. Rode with mostly an ATR crowd, but we also had recent transplant from NM Gene who joined us and Dave from CTR. There was some dust, but most of the time there was enough of a breeze to clear it out pretty quick.

Both breakfasts were rib stickin' yummy and the dinner was very tasty. :freaky

I will definitely be back next year!!! :clap

My first dual sport ride and first time riding bikes in the Flagstaff area. A little dusty but great fun and very senic. Great job by CTR especially the last minute switch to the American Legion hall. I will be back!

I had a great weekend. This was my first organized Dualsport event. Usually, I just explore on my own, so this was a neat experience. Food was great. GPS tracks were easy to follow. Met and rode with some great folks. The DRZ was about perfect for this event. I rode the A loop both days, and the heavy bike added to the challenge of the short Singletrack sections, and really shined on the fun 2 track. Amazing views, and cool temps. I'll definitely do it again. Thanks to CTR for setting it all up.

Had a great time on the a both days. Big thanks to the guys from CTR for putting on a great ride and also Jim and crew from Big Bear Trail Riders for finding spark on my dead Honda. Had a terrific time with a little over 250 miles logged in two days. :rilla
